Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2025 Carrollwood Cup U12 Soccer Tournament, I, as the parent or legal guardian of the participant, hereby agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in a soccer tournament involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, injuries from equipment, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in this event.

2. Release and Waiver

I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Backyard Arenas, its owners, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising from or related to any injury, disability, or loss that may occur as a result of my child’s participation in the 2025 Carrollwood Cup.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the staff of Backyard Arenas to seek medical treatment for my child. I understand that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses incurred as a result of an injury during the tournament.

4. Consent to Media Release

I grant permission to Backyard Arenas to use photographs, videos, and other media of my child captured during the 2025 Carrollwood Cup for promotional, advertising, and social media purposes. I understand that these materials may be used without compensation.

5. Code of Conduct Agreement

I acknowledge that all participants, parents, and spectators must adhere to the tournament’s Code of Conduct. Disrespectful behavior, verbal abuse, or inappropriate conduct may result in dismissal from the event without refund.

6. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Backyard Arenas from any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from my child’s participation in the event.

7. Acknowledgement of Understanding

I have read this waiver thoroughly, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms. I am aware that by signing this waiver, I am waiving certain legal rights that I or my child may have.
